The company commenced production of Atlantic salmon at its new production facility at the foot of Mount Fuji in Japan in October 2022. New batches of eggs are inserted on a monthly basis, currently eight tanks are filled with fish in the nursery department. The water quality is continuously measured, showing stable and good growth conditions for the fish.

“We are weighing the fish on a weekly basis, and see the performance steadily improving as we are fine-tuning and gaining the experience with the AquaMaof technology and equipment. In parallel, with the introduction of new batches, we experience continuously better performance which is a very encouraging sign.” continues Rajeswaran.
